Formula Drift champion Tanner Foust and Hollywood stunt driver Greg Tracy reached speeds of up to 53 miles per hour to zoom through the foot looped track, which was modeled after a Hot Wheels Double Dare Snare toy racetrack. Together, both drivers broke the Guinness World Record for driving the largest loop in a car -- a record previously held by Chinese driver Li Yatao in September Yatao's loop was only 42 feet tall.
In order for Foust and Tracy to defy gravity, they had to reach 7 Gs of force in their cars. Foust told ESPN that he had planned a strategy to avoid passing out during the loop : "Grunt, tighten your core and try to make your eyeballs and veins pop out. In all, a stunt that Tracy and Foust had spent one year preparing for was over in nine seconds, with Tracy coming in first. In an interview with Fox 17 video above , Tracy reminded fans, "And then we had a jump after that -- as if [the loop] wasn't enough.
